Mrs. Rubio

Welcome SHA Families,

My name is Astrid Rubio, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a 1st & 2nd grade teacher here at St. Hyacinth Academy. My educational journey began at LABI, where I earned my Associate of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and Theology in 2014. I then continued my studies at Vanguard University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood in 2020.

I am proud to have completed my master's degree in Teaching and Learning from Southeastern University, graduating in April 2026.

I am passionate about creating a classroom where students feel loved, supported, and encouraged to grow academically, socially, and in their faith.

I look forward to partnering with our SHA families and making this a wonderful year of learning and growth for our students.
