First communion Booklet

HI, Families! In helping the students prepare for their First communion, they have been given the First Communion booklet (a small booklet made of construction paper), where they should be writing daily a good deed that they do for others.  We do not only prepare our minds about the Mass and the different responses, but we also prepare our hearts. And what could be better than doing good for others? Please help your child consciously offer a good deed for anyone daily. Thank you!

First communion

Hi, Parents! The big day for your child's First Holy Communion is fast approaching! It will be on May 23, 2015, Saturday, at 10:30 a.m in St. Anthony's Church.  In our Religion class, we are learning the different parts of the Mass. Please take them to mass every Sunday and go over the responses with them, to help them prepare for this important event in their lives.

In line with this, parents and students must attend a retreat which will be on April 25, Saturday, at the school hall. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m.

Follow up: Paper Bag Book Report

Dear Families:
The guidelines for the paper bag book report were sent to your children 2 weeks ago. The due date for the book report is on March 27 - 17 more days. To avoid cramming, please make sure that you have helped your child pick out a book already. Please read the book with them so they will understand the characters and the story better. Start writing about the character's likes and dislikes by now!!!
Enjoy!

First Communion

HI, Parents and Families! I just want to inform you that our First Communion Mass will be on May 23, 2015, Saturday, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Parish.
Please be reminded to register your student at the parish, if you have not done so. If, for any reason, your student will not make the First communion with us, please inform me of any reasons or concerns you might have.
Please make sure that you have been attending the Parent Sessions given by the parish. There will be one more in April and a mandatory retreat (for both parents and children) in May. You may just go to the office for the dates.
To help them prepare for this momentous event, please take your children with you to Saturday evening or Sunday masses. We have been learning about the Mass and the other Sacraments. Practices in terms of responses and songs will be after the Easter break.
As a Catholic school, we take pride in preparing our children's hearts to receive Jesus for the first time in the Holy Eucharist. Let this be a very meaningful and memorable event for the children.
Thank you! God bless!
